Another Apple Key Note Event What’s New

It’s that time of the year when Apple CEO Tim Cook jumps on stage for a keynote event to showcase the new Apple products

Apple has unveiled its new iPhone 15, and one of the most significant differences is its your charging port. You won’t be able to plug a Lightning cable straight into your new phone. The new model uses a USB-C cable, which means you can borrow a charger from an Android phone user and it will still work.

The USB-C port is used across laptops and Androids and is a standard that Apple already uses on its laptops and some high-end iPads. 

Why has this happend In June last year, the European Union ruled all smartphones would require the same charger from 2024.

“By autumn 2024, USB Type-C will become the common charging port for all mobile phones, tablets and cameras in the EU,” the European Parliament said in a statement at the time.

What’s new features are coming with iPhone 15. Apple has a brand new A17 chip.iPhone 15 Pro is the first iPhone to feature an aerospace‑grade titanium design, using the same alloy that spacecraft use for missions to Mars. And a brand new IOS operating system IOS 17 will be rolling out soon across tones of Apple Devices in the coming weeks
