Will Siri become the Students New BFF?

Apple have entirely overhauled Siri creating an assistant that is more contextually relevant, personal, and natural. Siri will have a brand-new look, no longer will she appear as a blob at the bottom of your screen, instead she will be a glowing light around the edges of the screen so that you know that Siri is listening.

As you know, the current Siri needs explicit instructions on what to do and how to do it, whereas Super Siri will be much more intuitive and responsive to your requests. Siri will have better language understanding and will keep up with you even if you stumble over your words or change your mind mid-sentence.

The September 10th launch alongside the new iPhone models will give us our first taste of what Siri can do, and the full bells and whistles will begin to arrive with the Apple Intelligence release which is scheduled to be included in the iOS 18.1 update, due later in the year. This is when we will start being able to use Siri across all apps, including the awesome new writing tools that are guaranteed to revolutionise student life.

The announcements were made on the 10th of June at the WWDC event ‘Introducing Apple Intelligence, AI for the rest of us. And exciting updates coming with iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11 and visionOS 2.’ https://www.apple.com/au/apple-events/ Images below sourced from apple.com/au
