Warragul Area Tabletop Society Inc. is a social club based in Warragul focusing on bringing people together who enjoy tabletop games including, but not limited to, board games, tabletop roleplaying games and miniature wargames.

They host regular events and the seasons run during each school term of the year. WATTS also run monthly boardgame nights focusing on just boardgames, and the occasional day events.

I showed up to WATTS just over a year ago. I was new to Warragul and didn’t know any locals. I didn’t know what to expect and if it was too intimidating I told myself I’d run out of there, but everyone was so welcoming.

I instantly met Kent, Carson and Trinity and friendships were instantly formed. I was expecting monopoly, but after attending for a year, I am yet to see that particular boardgame surface at a table.

I met my now partner Carson that night. He is Secretary of WATTS a not for profit community venture which prides itself on inclusivity and being a safe space for all.

I spoke with other regulars who shared why WATTS has been so helpful for them to feel connected.
