Nigerian-Australian producer and rapper Crooked Letter is absolutely killing it as an emerging Aussie artist right now, and he was kind enough to chat to our announcer Grace Garde this morning.
His music has been described as “a melting pot of sounds” and is an energetic mix of “Afro-centric rhythms, clever wordplay and sample based trickery.”
The first single off his upcoming EP CL1 is called Heretics and is “an up-tempo afro-beats frenzy, and the sure footed first step of an artist with a clear sonic vision.”
Crooked Letter is performing at Sydney Fringe Festival’s event Fringe Ignite tomorrow at Kensington St Festival Village.
There’ll be food, drinks and live performances across 9 stages from 4pm to 8pm. Better still, the event is FREE.
More details on Fringe Ignite can be found here.
